I'm really happy to launch our manifesto for the Manchester Central by-election coming up in November. In the months ahead the reality of the financial crisis and cuts will bite, Manchester is already feeling it. Pirate Bay block ordered in UK

he BPI and its big-media allies have stepped forward their site-blocking blackmail campaign, demanding that BT and other major ISPs start blocking the Pirate Bay under a court order. It is a sad day for the UK, and a further step on the slippery slope to Internet censorship.
